Location: Carcavelos, Portugal

22nd of December 7am. at the pier in Carcavelos. The perfect weather and conditions for a surfing day. The locals know it. By swarms they come to the beach and once they see the perfect waves rolling in they act as stung by a bee to be in the ocean asap. The water in Portugal is about 16 degrees in winter and the outside temperature is by the sun slowly heating up to an equal temperature or above.

In the background left you can see the Forte de São Julião da Barra and if you look right of the sun you could even see the silhouette of the  Forte de São Lourenço da Cabeça Seca / Farol do Bugio.
